Vilas A. Prabhu
Dr. Vilas Prabhu has over four decades of experience in higher education as a faculty member and administrator and brings his academic affairs experience to NACUBO Consulting. Most recently, he served as provost and chief academic officer at Millersville University, a position he held for 17 years.
Prabhu has extensive experience and an outstanding track record in the areas of revenue generation through new program development; academic restructuring and efficiency modeling; collaboration with business and industry in program development; enrollment management with a focus on retention and graduation; and diversity and equity.
Prabhu earned a PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, a MS in pharmacy from Idaho State University, a BS in chemistry from the University of Bombay, India, and a MBA from Oklahoma State University. He is a graduate from the Harvard University Institute of Educational Management in 2005.
