Terri Mimms
Terri Mimms is the director for the office of treasury operations at Purdue University. She brings to NACUBO Consulting her current expertise in cash management programs, including short term liquidity, cash forecasting, financial relationships and services as well as global electronic payments and card operations. Her areas of focus include process efficiency and leveraging financial services to streamline operations in a cost-effective manner.
Prior to joining Purdue, Mimms spent over 20 years in the banking industry in positions such as internal auditor, compliance officer, manager of commercial credit, and vice president of operations.
Mimms is the current chair of the Association for Financial Professional (AFP) Certification Committee. She is the past chair of the AFP Body of Knowledge Committee and has reviewed and contributed to the last six editions of text The Essentials of Treasury Management. Mimms served as a reviewer to NACUBO to evaluate the Treasury Management chapter of College and University Business Administration (CUBA) 2019.
Mimms earned her BS in business from Indiana University and her MS in Higher Education Business Administration from Purdue University. She is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and a Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FP&A).
