Jim Main

James (Jim) Main bring his experiences in all facets of college and university administration for the past 45 years to NACUBO Consulting.

Most recently, Main served as the executive vice president for finance and administration and CFO for the University of North Texas at Dallas. UNTD is both an HBCU and HSI-designated institution located in Southern Dallas County .

Before UNTD, Main was the vice president for administration and finance at California State University, Monterey Bay. He also served as the vice president for finance and administration at Southern Oregon University and as the assistant vice chancellor for business and finance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to these leadership experiences, Jim worked at the University of Texas at Austin, Trenton State College in New Jersey, Brown University, and the University of Connecticut.

Jim has been active in NACUBO, SACUBO, CACUBO, and WACUBO. He has also served on NACUBO’s Small Institutions Council. In addition, Jim has previously provided various presentations and/or served as a panel member/facilitator/moderator at multiple national conferences.
