In this 45-minute session, NACUBO's Policy team offered updates on the COVID-19 relief aid provided for colleges and universities in Section 314 (a)(1) of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA), and on the accompanying guidance provided by the Department of Education. Speakers also discussed changes made to the Post 9/11 GI Bill by recently passed legislation.

This week, NACUBO's policy team shared results from our flash poll on institutional transitions to online learning, discussed the latest legislative action, and spoke about student financial services and accounting implications of a recent IFAP announcement.
Correction: Institutions can reimburse themselves from their federal allocation for the non-federal portion of FWS and FSEOG payments made to students on or after March 13; they cannot reimburse themselves from their institutional portion of the CARES Act, as was reported during this Town Hall.
