Click here to download the University of Connecticut Campus Sustainable Design Guidelines, designed by their Land Use and Sustainable Development Subcommittee, which seeks to incorporate guidelines for low-impact, sustainable design for the University's construction program. The Sustainable Design Guidelines represent this goal and the University's commitment to protect natural resources.  The University of Connecticut has adopted a policy statement that defines the principles for environmental leadership, setting the course for future campus initiatives.

Sustainable Green Printing Partnership  The SGP Partnership, an independent recognition organization, provides benchmarking tools applicable to the printing industry; provides verification of green and sustainable business practices based on a published list of criteria; and publicly recognizes facilities that meet established criteria.

Universities in New York State Form Renewable Energy Purchasing Consortium:  State and private universities in New York State banded together to form a renewable energy purchasing coalition. Called New York Campuses' Aggregate Renewable Energy Solutions (NYCARES).  The consortium includes 21 higher education institutions.
