After a very popular introduction last year, NACUBO is bringing back an online biweekly series focused on endowment management, the Endowment Leadership Series.

NACUBO has also retooled its endowment conference and this year is bringing you the Endowment Leadership Forum, which will be in-person in Seattle, April 26–27.

Programs

Bridging Governance and Administration

 Weekly, January 11–February 1

As core members of executive management, chief business officers have a crucial role to play in support of the governance process, particularly in relationship to boards of trustees. CBOs are a source of information for the board, administrative liaisons to a variety of board committees, and trusted advisors to the president. As fiduciaries, board members play pivotal roles in ensuring the institution is well managed, operates within its financial means, can enable strategic growth, and has the ability to weather turbulent times. In this new NACUBO series, explore the relationship between the CBO and the board. This series will provide practical tips and strategies for effective board governance, particularly in topics linked to finance, audit, and risk.
