Returning to Campus
Before students, faculty, and administrators start returning to campus, college and university leaders need to define the new normal by creating or revising policies to address a range of critical public health, workplace, instruction and learning environment, housing, dining, and student health service issues.
Social distancing may now be a campus mandate, for example, rather than a suggestion, while lecture halls, student centers, libraries, etc. may have capacity limits, and the checking of student, faculty, and staff temperatures when they arrive each day may be required.
As resources and tools become available, NACUBO will continue to collect and share best practices in keeping our campuses safe.
