If your institution participated in the 2022 NACUBO-TIAA Study of Endowments (NTSE) you will receive an e-mail with more information about the 2022 study in late summer 2023. If your institution would like to participate for the first time, or if you have not received participation information by August 31, 2023, please follow the instructions below.

Your institution can participate in the 2023 Endowment Study by sending an e-mail with the following information to NTSE@nacubo.org:

  • Institution name
  • Name of your institution's survey contact
  • Survey contact's title
  • Mailing address (street, city, state, and zip)
  • Telephone number
  • Fax number
  • E-mail address

General Reporting Guidelines

Full survey instructions are provided on the survey Web site. Below are overall guidelines to keep in mind when preparing for the survey:

  • Please report your data on a June 30 basis, regardless of the fiscal year end date of your institution.
  • Dollar amounts are reported to the nearest whole dollar (i.e., do not report cents). Round percentages (including investment returns) to the nearest one hundredth of one percent (e.g., 10.071% as 10.07%).
