Cancellation Policies
Cancellations
Requests for cancellation of in-person program registrations must be made by the registrant in writing via e-mail to support@nacubo.org. If the cancellation request is submitted by someone other than the registrant, the request must be submitted via e-mail only, and the registrant(s) must be copied on the e-mail.
Refunds
In-Person Meetings
Full refund of the registration fee will be made for cancellations received more than four weeks prior to the beginning of the program and will be issued in the form of the original payment. For cancellations received six days to twenty eight days prior to the program start, refunds will equal the registration fee minus a $100 administrative processing fee. Due to financial obligations incurred by NACUBO, no refunds will be issued for cancellations received within five business days of the program start, during the program or after the program has ended. No exceptions. If a registration is transferred to another program, and an overpayment occurs, a refund of the overage cannot be made.
Online Events, Webcasts, and Self-Study Programs
All sales are final for online events, webcasts, or self-study programs; cancellations are not permitted and no refunds will be issued.
Substitutions
Registrants unable to attend a program may send another individual from their institution/organization in their place. Substitutions must be received in writing from the registrant(s) via e-mail to support@nacubo.org and may be made for the same program or another program within the program year. A listing of eligible programs is posted on the Events and Programs page of the website. This excludes EACUBO or WACUBO events. If the substitution request is submitted by someone other than the registrant(s), the request must be submitted via e-mail only, and the registrant(s) must be copied on the e-mail. Once a program has ended and written cancellation was not received, a one-time substitution/transfer may be done. Requests must be submitted by the registrant and received no later than 48 hours after the program has ended. NACUBO is unable to cancel and hold registration fees. Early bird and standard rates apply and vary by program.
No Shows
NACUBO programs are often sell outs. Individuals registered have reserved a space in the program. Registrations will be cancelled within 48 hours of the program end date. Registrants who do not attend will be charged the full registration fee or may submit a one-time substitution/transfer (see above policy) within 48 hours from the program end date, and will not be eligible to receive CPE credits. Refunds will not be issued for any registration in which a no show occurs and written cancellation was not received prior to, during or after the registered program has ended. No exceptions.
