Robert Stickney brings more than thirty years of experience in higher education to NACUBO Consulting. He has worked with more than forty public and private universities in the areas of capital projects administration and management, finance, supply chain management, procurement, and budgeting. He has extensive experience in the assessment and redesign of capital project delivery systems, construction contract audits and monitoring, project management procedures, planning, facilities management, and university financial operations.

Most recently, Stickney served as interim senior associate vice chancellor for real estate, planning, and capital programs at the University of California San Francisco and provided similar services to the University of Washington. He spent ten years with KPMG as director of midwest real estate and construction advisory services and as a senior manager in the higher education advisory services practice.

Stickney began his career as an architect, and prior to his work as a consultant, served in campus planning and as associate director of housing facilities at Tulane University. He is a lifelong resident of New Orleans and earned his bachelors of architecture, masters of architecture, and MBA from Tulane University.
