Jodi Kessler
Jodi Kessler brings her experience in tax advisory, planning, compliance, and reporting needs to NACUBO Consulting. She is the current director of tax and global operations at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Before working at MIT, Kessler was the tax manager at Harvard University and The Ohio State University. She has her law degree and an LL.M. in taxation. Her focus areas have included tax compliance, investment and real estate related tax issues, tax analysis for major transactions, and analyzing international tax and employment obligations for remote employees. She also maintains a private practice client base for individual tax advice and preparation services.
Ms. Kessler is currently a member of the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Committee (IRSAC) and is on the Tax Exempt/Government Entity subcommittee. IRSAC provides the IRS commissioner with feedback and recommendations on a wide spectrum of tax topics. She is also a member of NACUBO's tax council.
