Capitol Building Legislative Lunchcast

The recent government shutdown had a significant impact on our nation's research institutions. Jennifer Poulakidas of the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities joins Megan Schneider to discuss the broader implications of the shutdown on research and higher education. This episode was recorded just prior to the government passing temporary funding legislation; however, many of the concerns raised in the podcast are ongoing and will not be quickly remedied by temporary funding. Therefore, these concerns will still impact higher education after the government fully reopens.
