NCAN Research Quantifies Student-Facing FAFSA Challenges
The National College Attainment Network’s (NCAN) latest FAFSA tracker, last updated on January 26, found that only 16.3% of the high school class of 2024 has submitted a FAFSA, a 56.6% decrease compared to academic year 2023. With decreases of more than 60%, FAFSA completion among students at low-income and high-minority high schools has been especially affected.
