On August 29, the Council on Financial Assistance Reform published an extensive set of frequently asked questions focusing on the Office of Management and Budget's new uniform guidance for grants management.

More than 200 questions and comments are included in the document. Topics that might be of interest to business officers include:

  • Effective dates, including those for indirect cost rates, subawards, and procurement
  • Internal controls
  • Methods of procurement, including the new micro-purchase category
  • Pass-through entities, indirect cost rates, and state funds
  • Depreciation and cost sharing
  • Utility cost adjustment
