Benchmarking and Research

NACUBO-TIAA Study of Endowments

Evaluate the performance and management of college and university endowments using the annual NACUBO-TIAA Study of Endowments, the preeminent analysis of the financial, investment, and governance policies and practices of the nation’s endowed institutions for higher education.

Tuition Discounting Study

The annual NACUBO Tuition Discounting Study measures institutional tuition discount rates and other indicators of institutionally funded scholarships awarded to undergraduates attending private, nonprofit colleges and universities.

Student Financial Services Benchmarking

The Student Financial Services (SFS) Benchmarking Report examines student financial services operations, including: unpaid student account balances, student accounts in collections, payment channels and methods, student refunds, third-party billing, staffing, and more.

Become a Member

NACUBO membership is institutionally based. Staff and faculty members at a member institution are eligible to receive benefits, including discounted products and services. Students and retired business officers may purchase an individual membership.

NACUBO Institutional Dues Schedule Membership Year 2023-2024

Higher Education Institutions membership dues are based on enrollment and expenses as reported on the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) finance form.
