The vast majority of colleges and universities would benefit from a comprehensive review of their resource deployment. The goals of such a review are to examine all institutional investments to determine whether, and how much, activities are contributing to institutional success.

This webcast will provide the rationale for such a process and a roadmap for undertaking the journey. Topics covered include recommended criteria for evaluating academic programs (with separate criteria for support functions) and the types of information that should be considered when carrying out the evaluation. Key considerations for defining programs and functions will be addressed. Finally, the webcast will highlight the factors required for success and as well as the causes of failure.
