Call for Proposals

For questions about submitting content, please contact Jeanne Cure.

The call for presentations is closed. Deadline was September 10th.

The UBIT program is aimed at the intermediate level; it is important to note that rather than basic overviews, we are looking for more in-depth and practical treatments of higher education tax topics.

  • The deadline for submissions was September 10, 2018. Proposals may be submitted at any time until 5:00 p.m. ET on the deadline date.
  • Submission of a presentation does not guarantee participation in the program.
  • Do not submit proposals unless each speaker is available to present at any time during the program dates of February 27-March 1, 2019.
  • Include all presenters that will take part in the presentation. Do not list co-presenters without definite commitment that the co-presenter will be on the program. The co-presenter(s) must agree to all the terms and conditions for participation.
  • The program committee strongly prefers that proposals from vendors include at least one speaker from a college or university.
  • Up to three (3) speakers per selected session will be given complimentary registration to the conference. Selected speaker(s) are responsible for expenses incurred in conjunction with the program including housing and travel.
  • Acceptance notifications will be sent by November 2, 2018.
  • The person listed as the primary contact for the proposal will be informed of the final decision
  • All selected speakers will receive an official confirmation letter. Speakers must complete an agreement form in order to be confirmed for a session.
  • NACUBO reserves the right to revise presentation titles or edit the session description of selected presentations for NACUBO promotional and program publications.

* If you submitted a proposal on a UBIT topic for the 2018 Tax Forum, your submission has been rolled over for consideration to the UBIT program.
