The Jeanne Clery Act, a consumer protection law passed in 1990, requires all colleges and universities who receive federal funding to share information about crime on campus and their efforts to improve campus safety as well as inform the public of crime in or around campus. This session is intended to provide guidance to chief business officers and their staff who are managing compliance of the Clery Act on their campus.

Given the many nuanced and complex requirements of the federal mandate, speakers will discuss key questions about the current state of institutional compliance. Presenters will provide advice and offer practical guidance that will aid in mitigating institutional risk associated with non-compliance prior to an audit.
