Analytics Advisory Group
The principal charge of the Analytics Advisory Group is to advise and make recommendations to NACUBO’s president, staff, and board of directors on activities related to NACUBO’s priority to lead higher education’s integration of analytics. This charge encompasses advice and needs assessment related to foundational concepts and best practices for the effective use of analytics to inform institutional decisions to enable the achievement of strategic goals.
Members of the Analytics Advisory Group understand that student success is paramount and affects institutional viability. Advisory group members are—
- Knowledgeable about data governance, frameworks, models, and definitions
- Leaders in collaboration and communication
- Experienced in assessing financial results and returns on new investments
- Capable of influencing efforts to foster a culture of data-informed decision-making
NACUBO’s Analytics Advisory Group is comprised of business officers as well as institution professionals who work in other units that collaboratively support institutions’ analytics efforts (e.g., institutional research, information technology) as well as higher education professionals from affiliated associations.
