Cancellations

In-Person Programs

Registrants may cancel their registration through their NACUBO account or via e-mail.

To cancel via e-mail, requests must be made by the registrant and submitted to support@nacubo.org. If the cancellation request is submitted by someone other than the registrant, the request must be submitted via e-mail only, and the registrant(s) must be copied on the e-mail.

In-Person Annual Meeting

Registrants may cancel their registration through their NACUBO account or via e-mail.

Refunds

In-Person Programs

Full refund of the registration fee will be made for cancellations received more than four weeks prior to the beginning of the program and will be issued in the form of the original payment. For cancellations received two to four weeks prior to the program start, refunds will equal the registration fee minus a $150 administrative processing fee. Due to financial obligations incurred by NACUBO, no refunds will be issued for cancellations received two weeks from the program start, during the program, or after the program has ended. No exceptions.

In-Person Annual Meeting

Full refund of the registration fee will be made for cancellations received on or before June 21, 2024, and will be issued in the form of the original payment. For cancellations received from June 21, 2024, to July 6, 2024, refunds will equal the registration fee minus a $300 administrative processing fee. Due to financial obligations incurred by NACUBO, no refunds will be issued for cancellations received after July 6, 2024. No exceptions. 

  

Substitutions

In-Person Programs

Registrants unable to attend a program may send another individual from their institution/organization in their place. Substitutions must be received in writing from the registrant(s) via e-mail to support@nacubo.org and may be made for the same program only. If the substitution request is submitted by someone other than the registrant(s), the request must be submitted via e-mail only, and the registrant(s) must be copied on the e-mail.

In-Person Annual Meeting

Registrants unable to attend the program may send another individual from their institution/organization in their place. Substitution requests must be received in writing from the registrant(s) via e-mail to annualmeeting@nacubo.org on or before July 6, 2024. If the substitution request is submitted by someone other than the registrant(s), the request must be submitted via e-mail and the registrant(s) must be copied on the e-mail. Substitutions may not be made after July 6, 2024.

No Shows

In-Person Programs

NACUBO programs often sell out. Individuals registered have reserved a space in the program and NACUBO has incurred costs for those registrants. Registrations will be cancelled within 48 hours of the program end date. Refunds will not be issued for any registration in which a no show occur and written cancellation was not received prior to, during, or after the registered program has ended. No exceptions.

 

Online Learning

Registrants may email online@nacubo.org to request a refund, transfer their registration to a colleague from the same institution, or change their registration to/from in-person (when applicable) up to one week before a live online event. When changing registration type, the registrant may receive a refund minus administrative fee, if applicable (see above) or be asked to pay the price difference.

Refunds will not be issued to registrants who missed a live online event, experienced internet or technology issues, or did not meet the requirements for CPE credit.

Refunds may not be requested for recordings, microlearning courses, or self-study courses. Registrations may be transferred to a colleague from the same institution if the original registrant has not accessed the content.

NACUBO reserves the right to determine if and when refunds and transfers are issued.
