With financial sustainability and fiscal responsibility top of mind at higher education institutions now more than ever, having data to directly support budget planning and staffing decisions is critical. However, comprehensive data around staffing can be challenging to collect and analyze.
In this webinar, Kelly Fox, executive vice president for administration and finance at Georgia Institute of Technology, will share how her institution is using external and internal staffing benchmarks to understand how its labor spend compares to peers and across the institution. Armed with this information, she’ll share how Georgia Tech is able to utilize this data for budget planning and staffing, particularly in assessing the impacts on human resources during a recent administrative restructure. Georgia Tech is also using this data to support their AdminX initiative with a goal of achieving more efficient and effective processes, enhanced customer service, and a state of continuous assessment and improvement. Fox will share how they embarked on gathering these data, what’s next, and their goals for the future.
