Overview

Economic Sustainability Leadership
Data has shown that a lack of diversity among college and university asset managers is an ongoing and persistent issue that institutions must address. Similarly, a lack of diversity in the higher education pipeline of future asset managers ensures that this problem will be perpetually present.

This session will provide an overview of the most recent data on asset management diversity and will offer a look at why this practice is important for institutions of all sizes. We’ll review successful policies that some schools have put in place to prioritize diversity in their own asset management and examine how other schools are taking steps to ensure greater diversity in future asset managers by cultivating an inclusive student pipeline to the financial management industry.
