NACUBO 2020 New Business Officers (NBO) Virtual Program

Overview

The New Business Officers (NBO) Virtual Program is designed to provide resources, information and guidance to those new to the Chief Business Officer role within a higher education setting. Attendance at the New Business Officers Program is limited to first-time chief business and financial officers who report directly to a president or chancellor and who have been in their current positions for less than three years.

The NBO Virtual Program will take place every Friday in August at 2 PM Eastern time. Each day will consist of two sessions, either 60 or 75 minutes in length with breaks in between.

NACUBO’s professional development programs are designed to deliver the skills, concepts, and best practices for success to individuals in the business of higher education. After participating in this program, you will be able to:

  • Develop a set of tools and strategies to navigate the complexities of the chief business officer role.  
  • Gain valuable insight on current topics and issues facing chief business officers working in higher education.
  • Understand the elements to develop relationships with key constituents on campus.
