2018 Integrating Student Services: Enriching the Student Experience

October 21-23 | Columbus, OH

The Institute for Student Services Professionals (ISSP) will host this workshop October 21–23, 2018 at The Ohio State University. The workshop will address such topics as Staff Training and Teambuilding, Recruitment/Retention and other student success measures and metrics, customer service standards, financial wellness, managing change and transitions, and technology initiatives. Buckeye Link in Action Tour: Our host university, The Ohio State University is home to over 60,000 students and has an established integrated student services model that incorporates services for students related to admissions, financial aid, student accounts, and student records. Buckeye Link is where students and families go-either online or in person-when they have questions about the business of being a Buckeye. Take a behind-the scenes look at its operations, and hear various perspectives from leadership, management, and front-line staff. Hear the latest from higher education experts, along several case studies from institutions who have developed and experienced how integrated student service models have created successful environments for students and staff. Participants will have the opportunity to visit The Ohio State University's student-oriented Buckeye Link, an office designed to be a one-stop solution center to help improve the business of being a student. This conference is presented by ISSP, a collaborative endeavor of six higher education professionals from Belmont University, Pepperdine University, Temple University, the University of Minnesota, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Washington, in alliance with the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO).
