Code of Federal Regulations

The Code of Federal Regulations, or CFR as it is commonly known, is the compilation of final rules with a separate title or volume for each agency. Citations to regulations take the form "Title CFR Part Section" (or Subpart). For instance, the Department of Education's financial responsibility standards are codified in 34 CFR 668 Subpart L or 34 CFR 668.171 – .175.
