Overview
This workshop addresses a highly complex area of tax compliance and administration, focusing exclusively on the rules governing payments to nonresident aliens. Designed for campus administrators who have direct involvement with processing payments to foreign students, scholars, faculty, and visitors, the Nonresident Alien Tax Issues workshop reviews the fundamentals and presents the latest regulatory developments in the international tax arena. The highly technical material is supported and reinforced with interactive case studies, small group exercises, and joint discussions of current issues and best practices.
NOTE: This program is NOT designed for campus staff that are unfamiliar with nonresident alien tax rules.
