NACUBO Tuition Discounting Study

2007 Tuition Discounting Data Collection Underway

In continuing our partnership with The College Board, data for NACUBO’s annual Tuition Discounting Study is again being collected through the College Board’s Annual Survey of Colleges.  NACUBO’s annual Tuition Discounting Study now covers both public and independent colleges and universities.  Annual Survey of Colleges data submissions are due January 21st.  Similar to last year, if your institution completes sections H1 and H3 of the College Board’s Annual Survey of Colleges, they will, in fact, be participating in NACUBO's Tuition Discounting Study.

Please contact NACUBO Research staff if you would like to know your institution's survey filer for the Annual Survey of Colleges.

For login and password information, please contact the College Board directly at (212) 713-7755 or collegesurvey@collegeboard.com.

Results from the NACUBO Tuition Discounting Study will be posted to NACUBO's online Benchmarking Tool in 2008.  The NACUBO Benchmarking Tool allows participating institutions to view summary results as well as compare their institutional aid strategies to that of their unique peer group.  Currently, participants in the 2005 NACUBO Tuition Discounting Study have access to the NACUBO Benchmarking Tool and the 2006 data will be added to the tool in the coming months.

NACUBO Benchmarking Tool Available to 2005 Tuition Discounting Study Participants

NACUBO is pleased to introduce the NACUBO Benchmarking Tool.  This new complimentary member benefit allows current NACUBO member institutions to create customized reports and compare institutional aid practices against a self-selected peer group.

At present time, the online tool is available only to institutions that participated in the 2005 NACUBO Tuition Discounting Study.  The 425 independent institutions who participated in the 2005 NACUBO Tuition Discounting Study are now able to login to "My NACUBO" to access the online tool.  For more information, visit the NACUBO Benchmarking Tool webpages.
