The administration announced that it will fulfill President Trump’s campaign promise to end the program that provides temporary relief from deportation to unauthorized immigrants who have been in the United States since childhood.

ED Establishes Hurricane Harvey Hotline

The Department of Education has activated its emergency response contact center. Contact ED at 1-844-348-4082 or HarveyRelief@ed.gov for informational resources or to seek relief from agency-based administrative requirements. ED has created a Hurricane Harvey webpage and also has directed federal student loan servicers to be flexible with borrowers impacted by the hurricane.
