White House Reports Sequester Cuts Will Be Blunt and Indiscriminate According to a September 14 White House report, under sequestration, spending for student aid, except for Pell Grants, would be reduced across-the-board by 7.6 to 8.2 percent. Pell Grants would be protected for FY13 only.
