NACUBO Presses IRS for Relief from 1098-T Penalties
In a September 19 letter to the Internal Revenue Service, NACUBO President and CEO John Walda urged the IRS to stop issuing penalty notices to colleges and universities related to missing or inaccurate taxpayer identification numbers on Forms 1098-T and waive penalties assessed for 2012.

Congress Approves Temporary Budget to Keep Federal Government Open

NACUBO is seeking proposals for concurrent sessions and corporate showcases that offer in-depth and practical treatments of present-day issues facing the higher education community. Submissions should highlight solutions, initiate provocative discussions, and share effective strategies.

The NACUBO 2015 Annual Meeting will take place in Nashville, Tenn., July 18-21, 2015.
