ED Issues Final Rules on Teacher Preparation

States will be required to produce reports annually on placement rates of teacher training program graduates in their first three years of teaching as well as other program characteristics under new rules issued by the Department of Education. Institutions’ TEACH Grant Program eligibility will eventually be tied to state reporting systems.
