VA Department Waives In-State Tuition Requirement Through 2015

The Department of Veterans Affairs has announced a blanket waiver to the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 for all non-compliant states. The law requires public institutions to charge veterans and their dependents in-state tuition and fees regardless of their current state of residence.

Revenue and Expenditures Fall at Public Institutions

Between 2010 and 2012, total revenue at public four-year colleges and universities fell 4 percent per full-time equivalent student, according to the Digest of Education Statistics. Total expenditures per FTE fell 0.2 percent during the same period.
