|White House Budget Includes Calls for Higher Education Reform |
President Obama presented a budget request for FY15 that, if accepted by Congress, would spur performance-based funding and reward strong outcomes for low-income students. The budget reflects the tight spending limits imposed by an overall spending cap agreed upon by Congress and the White House last December.

Higher Education CBO Salaries Rise 1.8 PercentThe median salary of higher education chief business officers rose from $168,800 in 2012-13 to $172,000 in 2013-14, according to the annual salary survey conducted by the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources. Salary levels differed substantially by type of institution, gender, and race/ethnicity.
