Summary
The proposed regulations govern the new Special Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (SLEAP) Program. These proposed regulations would implement changes made to the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA), by the Higher Education Amendments of 1998, Public Law 105-481 (1998 Amendments).
