Summary
The Secretary proposes to amend the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program regulations and the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program regulations. The Secretary is amending these regulations to reduce administrative burden for program participants, provide benefits to borrowers, and protect the taxpayers' interests.
