Summary
The Secretary amends the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program regulations and the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program regulations. These regulations are intended to reduce administrative burden for program participants, provide benefits to borrowers, and protect the taxpayers' interests.
Dates
These regulations are effective July 1, 2001.
