Notice of proposed rulemaking
The Secretary proposes to implement various general and non-loan provisions that were added to the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA), by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA) by amending the regulations for Institutional Eligibility Under the Higher Education Act of 1965, the Student Assistance General Provisions, the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Programs, the Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant
Program, the Federal Pell Grant Program, and the Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership Program (LEAP).
We must receive your comments on or before September 21, 2009
