Last month, the IRS released an updated version of Publication 4077, Tax-Exempt Bonds for 501(c)(3) Charitable Organizations. In addition to defining qualified 501(c)(3) bonds, the guide explains reporting requirements, private business use tests, and treatment of management and service contracts, and offers tips and resources for post-issuance compliance.
