Higher Education Accounting Forum Corporate Showcases
Highlight your company's expertise by presenting a corporate showcase at the 2013 Higher Education Accounting Forum, being held May 19-21, 2013 in Savannah, GA.
The Higher Education Accounting Forum brings together over 400 campus and industry higher education accounting experts and offers an opportunity for you to showcase solutions, initiate provocative discussions, and share effective strategies to the many challenges facing campus administrators.
We are seeking proposals for 60-minute plenary corporate showcase presentations that will form a pre-conference program on Sunday, May 19, 2013. The number of showcase sessions is limited to no more than three. A committee will evaluate all of the proposals received and determine which presentations will be invited to join the program.
We are seeing presentations on (but not limited to) the following topics:
- Internal reporting and analysis
- Fraud prevention
- Change management
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Campus tax issues relevant to controllers
- Student financial service issues/collaboration between financial aid and the business office
In selecting proposals, the program committee will be evaluating sessions best suited to the needs of accounting and financial management professionals at colleges and universities. Some key considerations as you prepare your proposal:
- Include as much detail as possible about the presentation.
- Include 2-3 learning objectives or audience takeaways
- Gear the presentation towards an audience at the intermediate to advanced level of understanding, rather than basic treatments or overviews
