Overview

Over the past four years, college and university endowment managers have faced several substantial challenges. There has been increasing market volatility and unpredictability; economic uncertainty in the U.S., Europe, and Asia; declines in financial support from governments and donors; increasing pressures to increase endowment spending to make up for declines in other revenue sources; and increased scrutiny from policy makers and others regarding the effective stewardship of investment funds. With these factors as vibrant background, endowment managers are faced with two very important questions: What do we do now? And, more importantly, how do we do it?

This webcast will provide an overview of the results of the 2012 NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments and will provide a preview of the challenges that investment pros and chief business officers will face in 2013 and future years.
