Understanding Chairman Camp's Tax Reform Discussion Draft: A Higher Education Primer

Recorded on Tuesday, April 22, 2014

This complimentary webcast provides a basic overview of the sweeping tax reform proposal released on February 26, 2014, by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI). The proposal, known as a “discussion draft” because it was not formally introduced as legislation, includes a wide-range of proposed tax changes that would impact students and families, the higher education workforce, and the business operations of colleges and universities.
While passage of a sweeping tax reform package is not expected to pass anytime soon, it will be helpful for college and university administrators to have a basic understanding of the proposals that impact higher education.
