OD: Understanding the Results of the 2014 NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments, and a Look to 2015 and Beyond

Recorded on Thursday, February 19, 2015 1:00PM ET

Overview

College and university endowment managers faced a host of challenges in fiscal 2014: market volatility and unpredictability; economic uncertainty in the U.S., Europe, and Asia; declines in financial support from governments; increasing pressures to increase endowment spending to make up for declines in other revenue sources; and increased scrutiny from policy makers and others regarding the effective stewardship of investment funds.

The 2014 NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments (NCSE) examines the ways in which endowment professionals met these challenges and positioned their institutions to take advantage of new opportunities. This Webcast will review the results of the 2014 NCSE and will also provide a preview of the challenges that chief business officers and investment staff may face in coming years.

Special pricing is available to the participants of the 2014 Endowment Study. For more details, contact the NACUBO research team at NES@nacubo.org.
