Next to the movement of faculty and staff, the movement of cash is the most challenging operational aspect of activities abroad. Financial, legal, safety and other human capital risks are all impacted by the international cash management practices of an institution, such as “cash in a suitcase”, the use of personal bank accounts, cash payments to contractors, and post-transaction reconciliation of receipts.
 
This webcast will discuss the most common trends and challenges with getting money into foreign countries, and bringing it back, and what role the business officer can play in managing risks.
