OD: Scenario Building Strategies for Community College

Overview
Learn how other community colleges have successfully put together effective strategic plans and budget processes that assisted them through turbulent times. Hear how institutions built a variety of budget scenarios based on a variety of factors, created an informed budget and set of assumptions, and were equipped to handle significant budgetary changes when variables began to shift. In addition, a unique budget integrative modeling tool, created “in-house” by a community college, will be presented to highlight forecasting, scenario building and lessons learned.
