Overview
Higher education institutions must understand issues surrounding the management and reporting of monies awarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). There are also real questions around how the use of ARRA dollars will impact the Single Audit.
The political and financial risks of errors or non-compliance with ARRA mandates may be huge and is compounded by the visibility of easily accessible, publicly available information.
