OD: Complying with the New Truth-in-Lending Act Rules for Education Loans
Recorded February 5, 2010
Overview
New Federal Reserve Board rules on private education loans affect most colleges and universities. Institutions need to be prepared to provide students with self-certification forms for loans that they obtain elsewhere and to comply with complex consumer disclosure requirements for loans made or administered by the institution. A legal expert will explain the changes to the Truth-in-Lending Act rules, also known as Regulation Z, and campus professionals discuss operational issues.
