Definitions and Strategies for Sustainability

October 1, 2014

Overview

Arizona State University (ASU) is a leader in the global movement to address the enduring challenges of sustainability: promoting human prosperity and well-being for all, while protecting and enhancing the earth’s life support systems. By extending the academic tradition to include all ASU units and working with external partners, ASU educates, discover solutions and implements practices that will help people drive the transition to a sustainable world.

During this on-demand recording, Dr. Gary Dirks, former president of BP Asia-Pacific and BP China until 2008, now Director of ASU Lightworks explains a wide spectrum of sustainability issues and gives overview of major trends they are undertaking.
