OD: Are Hedge Funds and Private Equity Right for You? An Analysis of Alternative Investments

Recorded on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 1:00PM

Private equity and hedge funds are widely used as investment strategies by college and university endowment managers, but what role should they serve for your institution?  Should current allocations be enhanced or reduced? This webcast will feature an expert panel of speakers from Bloomsburg University Foundation, Graham Capital Company, and Mason Investment Advisory Services, Inc., who will discuss and debate the case for and against private equity and hedge funds as part of endowment portfolios.
This promises to be a lively discussion as the panel includes professionals who have each thoroughly evaluated the investment landscape and yet reached very different conclusions regarding the role private equity and hedge funds should serve in endowment portfolios.   Participants will gain a better understanding of the potential benefits and the risks of utilizing these investment strategies.  In addition, participants will be exposed to the idea that a successful endowment portfolio strategy can be implemented with or without hedge funds and private equity.

Whether your institution currently uses private equity and hedge funds, or is considering adding these investment strategies, this webcast will enhance your perspective and equip you to make a more informed decision.
