American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment
More than 650 college and university presidents have signed the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). This pledge commits their institutions to neutralizing greenhouse gas emissions and accelerating higher education's research and educational efforts to equip society to re-stabilize the earth's climate.

- Leading Profound Change -- Written by the ACUPCC Steering Committee, and released in August 2009, this 13 page document encourages presidents and campus leaders to treat sustainability as a major transformative initiative employing all the leadership skills of a major institutional change.
