ED Publishes Webinar Recordings to Assist Foreign Schools’ Transition to Direct Lending

Last week in a "Dear Colleague", the Department of Education announced that archived versions of online sessions designed to help foreign institutions transition to the Direct Lending Program were available free for viewing. Similar to the training workshops held this past summer, the collection of webinars has six sessions:
- Difference Between FFEL and Direct Loans and Determining Student Eligibility
- Calculating Award Amounts
- Direct Loan Programmatic Primer
- Originating Loans with the Direct Loan Tool and Using the COD System
- Cash Management and Reconciliation
- Return of Title IV Funds and Using NSLDS
